Welcome to My Movement World

Spoiler: It's Not Just Dance

Nicole Leung’s movement training primarily consists of swimming, biking, alpine skiing, bouldering, weightlifting, and cross-country running, with some short dabbles in ball sports. Dance joined that list in 2017, during Nicole’s first semester in college. She finished her undergraduate schooling in 2021 with a B.A. in Integrated Design and Architecture from Colorado College and now works as a web and graphic designer. During her time at CC, she primarily studied ballet with Debra Mercer, supplemented with modern and Hip-Hop classes taught by Shawn Womack, Patrizia Herminjard, and Ron Jules. She continues to explore different movement philosophies and dance styles, with opportunities to perform when time allows. This includes glitter-filled aerial silks events, moody modern dance explorations of our inner minds, and friendly races up the Manitou Incline.
